The all-new 2019 Honda Insight made its global debut at the New York International Auto Show on March 28, 2018. This innovative new hybrid sedan demonstrates vigorous acceleration, a quiet and comfortable drive, sleek and sophisticated design and outstanding fuel efficiency. Its brand new two-motor hybrid system generates 151 net system horsepower and lightweight construction allow up to 55-mpg city.1

Insightful New Design
The new 2019 Honda Insight’s exterior processes the iconic “low and wide stance” of today’s Honda sedan along with Honda’s hallmark “flying wing” grille. The distinguished character lines give the Insight a coupe-like appeal, while low-profile LED headlights and taillights round out its sleek and sophisticated appearance. Inside the cabin, occupants will delight in the ergonomically designed seats, soft-touch instrument panel accented with real stitching, and 7” TFT color digital driver’s meter. Available luxurious accoutrements include heated/leather trimmed seating and an 8” Display Audio touchscreen with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration. The new Insight also offers best-in-class rear legroom of 37.4 inches and an impressive 15.1 cubic feet of trunk space.
3 Trim Levels and Impressive Standard Features
The Insight will be available in the LX, EX and Touring trim levels. An impressive list of standard features include 16” alloy wheels, heated side mirrors, full LED headlights, taillights and daytime running lights, a 7” TFT digital driver’s meter, a 6-speaker audio system, push-button start, and more. The EX trim adds Smart Entry, SiriusXM® radio, 2 additional speakers, and an 8” Display Audio touchscreen. Move to the Touring trim to add a power moonroof , dual-zone climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, LED side-mirror turn signals, perforated leather seating, heated front seats embedded Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™, Honda HD Digital Traffic, 4G LTE Wi-Fi with mobile hotspot capability and Wi-Fi-enabled over-the-air system updates, next-generation HondaLink® subscription services, a 10-speaker premium audio system, and HomeLink® Remote System.
A Drive to be Experienced
With 151 horsepower and 197 lb-ft of electric motor torque, the new 2019 Honda Insight abolishes any concerns about how a hybrid electric vehicle can perform. Three available driving modes – NORMAL-ECON and SPORT – let the drive choose whether to optimize efficiency or performance. Comfort was no compromise either. The Insight is built around Honda’s legendary Advance Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure with a new aluminum hood that reduces overall weight. Supreme cabin quietness is achieved by additional sound insulation in the engine bay, front fenders, front firewall and front and rear floor. The Insight’s new chassis delivers a “highly refined, confident and composed driving experience.”
Unrelenting Safety Comes Standard
In all 2019 Honda Insight trim levels, the award-winning Honda Sensing® suite of driver-assistive technologies come as standard equipment. This suite is comprised of Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™), Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assistance System, Road Departure Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow and Traffic Sign Recognition. The Insight EX and Touring trim levels add Honda LaneWatch™.
