New Honda owners will no longer have to worry about flat tires, running out of fuel or losing a key. Starting with the 2015 model year, all new Honda vehicles will have the access to 24-hour nationwide roadside assistance for the 3-year/36,000 mile new vehicle limited warranty term.
If a Honda owner encounters problems while driving, they can call the toll free hotline for 24/7 roadside support anywhere in the United States, Puerto Rico or Canada. Upon receiving the call, Honda Roadside assistance will assign a service vehicle to the distressed driver’s location and perform the following services as needed:
Honda owners who travel for work or leisure will also appreciate the $300 travel reimbursement benefit. This will cover expenses such as food, lodging and alternate transportation in the event of vehicle disablement1. In the event of an emergency situation, the program will try to get a hold of alternate contacts (such as a spouse or workplace) to communicate important information.
Emergencies and road issues aren’t the only amenities offered by Honda Roadside Assistance. This program was also designed to keep you informed, and enhance the convenience of your driving experience. Additional services include airline flight times and fares, directory assistance (to help you find local banks, restaurants, ATM’s, etc,) hotel reservations2 and more. This is just another example of how Honda is constantly seeking ways to enhance the service, benefits safety and convenience they provide to their customers.
1.The total trip interruption benefit is $300; $100 per day for three days maximum. Costs for reuniting the Honda owner with the vehicle are included in the total of $300 maximum benefit.
2.Any third party costs (such as vehicle rental, taxi, lodging, flight fares, etc.) associated with the rendering of the Trip Continuation Services shall be borne by the driver requesting such service. 3.Two gallons provided, not to exceed twice in a calendar year. The American Automobile Association, Inc. and its affiliated motor clubs acts merely as a dispatcher or referral service to persons or entities who provide the actual service. These persons and/or entities are independent contractors. Accordingly, the American Automobile Association, Inc. and its clubs assumes no responsibility for the acts, errors, omissions, negligence, malfeasance or misfeasance of such persons and/or entities. All persons availing themselves of this benefit of Honda Roadside Assistance are to look solely to such persons and/or entities for liability arising in connection therewith, and not to the American Automobile Association, Inc. or its clubs. Honda Roadside Assistance services are provided through the American Automobile Association, Inc., Heathrow, FL 32746. Honda reserves the right to limit services or reimbursements to an owner or driver when, in the judgment of Honda, the claims become excessive in frequency or type of occurrence. Honda also reserves the right to alter or withdraw the Honda Roadside Assistance program at any time without notice.
